Application Process

The September 11th Memorial Program for Regional Transportation Planning anticipates selecting 2-6 students for the 2008-09 Academic Year. Applications should include the following:

• Completed application form.
• Résumé.
• Undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable on a provisional basis, but official transcripts may be required later for confirmation.
• Three letters of recommendation from professors and/or employers.
• An essay, describing how you visualize your future role in the New York transportation planning process (500-1000 words).
• For applicants interested in the research option: brief statement of proposed research question and methodology.
