Krystal Gittens is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, with a concentration in Environment, Infrastructure, and Transportation. The Urban Planning program prepares students to work on the key challenges facing communities and large cities, as well as provide students with the practical skills needed to become a visionary urban planning leader and artful community change agent. Her research will focus on understanding the role that environment and infrastructure play in urban development and the impact that they have on the expansion of transportation systems. Krystal currently works in the Materiel Department of the MTA-New York City Transit Authority and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown University.
