Dr. Hao research interests are in the areas of Traffi c Operations and Control, Transportation Safety, Transportation Planning and ITS. He specializes in traffi c operational analysis, with extensive knowledge in simulation modeling and travel demand modeling. Dr. Hao is a key engineer of several major transportation system projects for NYDOT, NJDOT and NJ transit. He is also a member of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee on Railroad Operational Safety.
