This research investigates the multifaceted challenges and opportunities presented by the burgeoning demand for urban e-commerce. Focused on providing actionable insights for city planning and transportation agencies, the project will develop methodologies for measuring and managing the impacts of increasing online retail activity within urban environments. Through regular engagement with the Department of City Planning (DCP), the research team will provide project updates, discuss progress, and solicit feedback on key deliverables.

Furthermore, the research aims to disseminate findings through academic journal publications in relevant fields such as transportation policy and urban planning, as well as presentations at prominent national and international conferences. Key deliverables include quarterly progress reports, a final comprehensive project report and presentation, concise research briefs, a project summary video, and academic journal paper(s) and presentations, all contributing to a deeper understanding and effective management strategies for the evolving landscape of urban e-commerce demand.
